Imagine serving homemade pasta or a fresh green salad in these cabbage leaf bowls. In restaurants an often-used trick is serving food in a bowl that’s a bit too large, it’ll make the food look even more appealing! Bordallo Pinheiro designed the classic cabbage leaf ceramic tableware in 1884. Since then the collection established itself as an example of 19th century Portuguese cultural heritage. Hence with these plates you are bringing a famous piece of art to your table! The cabbage leaf dishes are still cast in traditional moulds and are glazed following every vein of the leaf. In close collaboration with Bordallo’s workshop, VAN VERRE extended the cabbage collection with new plates and bowls in contemporary colours. Combine them endlessly for a cheerful table setting!
Great piece of art for festive happenings and to enjoy for daily use. Don’t forget to add one of our Olive Wood salad server sets.
The VAN VERRE Cabbage, Leaf and Bloom collection in green and contemporary colours can be endlessly combined.
