Malawi loveseat
This charming loveseat is a variation of our iconic Malawi chair. Woven with a rich sense of cultural tradition, the beauty and simplicity will make a striking eye-catcher. The chair is a pleasure to sit in with its comfortable proportions. Making it the perfect chair to spend a cozy afternoon being close to a person that is dear to you. The cane reeds are harvested and dried in the hot African sun. Each Malawi Chair is manually woven along the shores of Lake Malawi, passing on this craft from generation to generation. It takes up to 7 days for a skilled man to make a Loveseat. Turning the seat upside down, you will find the artisan's signature engraved in the wood. The craftsmen are small-scale farmers, organized in a local co-operative, weaving between the planting or harvesting season. Support the prosperity chain and give the artisans a sustainable income to support their families while preserving their cultural heritage. Celebrate the art of artisans!
